Printed Number
A printed number refers to a player’s umber that is directly printed onto the jersey fabric, rather than being stitched or sewn on. This can be done through various printing techniques, such as screen printing, heat transfer, or dye-sublimation. Printed numbers are generally flatter to the touch and can allow for more detailed fonts or special effects. While this method is cost-effective and suitable for mass production, the print may not be as durable as tackle twill, especially with frequent washing or heavy use.
